About Knott Laboratory

Knott Laboratory provides forensic engineering and animation services for a variety of industries nationwide.

Our experts have worked on more than 20,000 failure analysis cases nationwide for the legal and insurance industries, as well as for local and national businesses. We assist our clients from initial contact through investigation, analysis, animation production and expert witness testimony.

Areas of Expertise

We produce scientifically accurate graphics and visualizations which support our engineers in expert witness testimony.

Knott Laboratory’s experienced staff of engineers work together with our in-house animators to produce scientifically accurate visualizations which support our engineers in expert witness testimony. Our visualizations successfully pass strict criteria and standards the United States Federal Court system imposes on all exhibits. Our physics-based visual material is not only accepted in court but also plays a powerful role in clearly presenting critical issues and complex concepts to jurors in mediation and settlement negotiations.
