An understanding of engineering and physics is essential to any accident reconstructionist’s ability to interpret and analyze accident related evidence. However, in motorcycle accident reconstruction, the physical evidence is often misinterpreted due to a reconstructionist’s inexperience and lack of understanding of motorcycle dynamics. Therefore, the reconstruction of motorcycle accidents requires not only the knowledge and understanding of engineering and physics, but also requires first-hand experience in the riding and operation of a motorcycle.
The motorcycle accident reconstructionists at Knott Laboratory are avid motorcycle enthusiasts with extensive motorcycling experience. From cross-country touring to off-road riding to AMA pro-level road-racing, our engineers have the experience to understand all aspects of motorcycle dynamics and handling. In addition, our lead motorcycle accident reconstructionist has several years of experience working for a major motorcycle manufacturer designing and testing motorcycles and ATV’s to be sold at dealerships around the world.
The combined training, education and experience of our motorcycle accident reconstruction team ensures that any motorcycle accident, or motorcycle related failure, can be handled properly and professionally.
