Frozen Pipes

A frozen pipe while on vacation can lead to a devastating loss.  Utilizing basic heat loss principles and utility records Knott Laboratory can determine if adequate heat was maintained in a structure.   This information coupled with our on site investigation is used to determine the cause and origin of the freeze loss.  Often the origin of the loss is a plumbing or construction error which can lead to subrogation potential.
