Knott Laboratory provides forensic engineering and animation, Civil & Structural, and Fire & Explosion Investigation services to reconstruct accidents.

Structural Analysis

Our engineers have inspected structural failures that occurred as a result of earthquake, flooding, rain, snow, wind, and ice loads.

From a single broken rafter to a collapsed structure, Knott Laboratory can perform a structural analysis in order to determine the cause and origin of the failure. Our engineers have inspected structural failures that occurred as a result of earthquake, flooding, rain, snow, wind, and ice loads. Also, Knott Laboratory routinely inspects and develops repair recommendations for structural damage as a result of fires and vehicular impact and our engineers are available immediately in emergency situations.

All of Knott Laboratory’s structural engineers are qualified to enter and conduct investigations in structures known to have asbestos spills.
